Our respiratory program is under the direction of a licensed registered respiratory therapist.  We provide 24 hour respiratory care services, administered by a staff of licensed respiratory care professionals, consulting pulmonologists (Nicholas G. Proia, MD  and  Francisco A. Mateo, MD), and specially trained nurses.

The ventilator program not only provides quality long-term care for ventilator dependent residents, but also serves as a post-intensive care treatment program.  The post-intensive care treatment program was designed to wean ventilator residents through pulmonary rehabilitation as well as long term care ventilator management services.
