Our Short-Term/Subacute Unit is a comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation unit for individuals who have had a
physically disabling condition. This condition can be the cause of an accident, injury or surgical procedure. Some of the common cases have been those related to stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury,
orthopedic condition, multiple trauma or other debilitating process.

Our goal-oriented treatment programs focus on the potential of the patient. Weekly interdisciplinary team meetings and ongoing
re-evaluations of the treatment plan ensure that the therapies are appropriate for the patient while maximizing their outcomes. The common goal of all patients is to return to home or
to the next level of treatment as quickly as possible.
As individuals progress in the subacute area, outpatient therapy services can be implemented. |
