A unique and convenient service within the health care industry has first been adopted by CHCC facilities. Caprice have been operating inpatient and outpatient dialysis units under the ownership of individual nephrology groups.

Each nephrology group, operating within our facilities, specialize in renal care services for patients with kidney disease, including patients suffering from chronic kidney failure.   

     The benefits of offering hemodialysis in the long-term care setting include:

•     patients not having to be transported outside of the facility
•     the patient/nurse ratio is higher than a typical unit
•     the continuity of care is reflected due to the close working       relationship and communication between the dialysis and extended care staff
